Hickory Ridge Farm

How did we get our name?

When we came around the corner to see the cabin for the first time, we couldn’t help but to notice a very distinctive hickory tree in the front yard.

This tree had a particularly unique branch which jutted impossibly far out to its right.

Julie named the farm Hickory Ridge after that tree and the many others scattered throughout the farm.

We soon adopted that hickory tree as our family symbol. And that’s what it stands for today...our family. Strong, earth-centered roots and numerous, healthy flowing branches.

Of course, we are also a little “nutty” and tend to lean to the right! But a family we are and blessed to own Hickory Ridge Farm!

Come on in, and set a spell! And come back often! We’re always updating the site, and you won’t want to miss a thing.
